Who books a shoot day

Businesses that need one day filmed: an interview, an event, a launch, a day at work. Producers and agencies that need a local camera operator or a small crew in Tampa Bay.

If you want the whole film made for your business, strategy and edit included, see Tampa video production.

What you can book

  • A shoot dayFull day
  • A shorter shootHalf day
  • A lit interview setup with timecoded soundInterview
  • Event and day-of coverageOn location
  • Edit and color, booked by the dayPost

Before the day

You get a call sheet with the address, times, contacts, parking and a weather backup date. If we are filming on public property, the permit goes through Film Tampa Bay ahead of time.

On the day

Interviews are set up and lit first. Then we film what is going on: the work, the people, the room. Everyone who can be identified signs a release before the camera rolls.

Every card is copied to two drives on site, and a third copy goes off site within 24 hours.

What you get

Camera originals and sound on a drive at wrap, or an edited cut if you book edit days. Graded masters come as ProRes or H.264, with a review link before final delivery.

Where we work

We are based in Brandon and Valrico and work across Tampa and the rest of the Tampa Bay area.

Questions

Can you work as part of our crew?

Yes. We work as camera operator, second camera, editor or colorist on other productions, under a short written agreement for the job.

Do you bring your own kit?

Yes. Cinema cameras, lenses, lights and timecoded sound recorders. The kit list goes out with the quote.

I have never been on camera. Is that a problem?

No. It is a conversation, not a performance. You talk to a person sitting next to the camera, not to the lens.

Do you take photographs?

No. We make films.

Do you film weddings?

Yes. See Tampa wedding films.
