The project
UTampa Stories is a collection of interviews with people at the University of Tampa. Each one is a sit-down interview, filmed where that person spends their day.
The first two are with players from the women's lacrosse team, filmed on campus in October 2026.
How it was made
Before the shoot we write a question sheet for each interview. On the day, the interview comes first, then the work going on around it.
In the edit, the interview is transcribed and cut on paper before it touches a timeline. Once its through-line is locked, the footage of the work and the music are built around it, and the film is graded by hand in DaVinci Resolve.
